One Man Show 101
In performing arts and entertainment, a one person show is frequently performed by, but not limited to, stand-up comedians. It is similar to stand-up comedy in that it usually involves a solitary performer on stage, for about an hour, speaking directly to the audience therefore acknowledging the absence of the fourth wall. A performer of a one man show isn't expected to get consistent laughs throughout the piece. Although if you go to see a comedian performing a one man show the expectation is that they will make you laugh.
A one man show show expects and demands the active involvement of the people in the audience. Whilst this is often the case, performers such as Whoopi Goldberg create shows made up of rants and character vignettes which allow them to involve an imaginary character. So one could argue that by doing this they "re-build" the fourth wall.
Got it? Good, we just wanted to be sure that you knew what you were getting into. See you Monday...oh and Tuesday.

My first encounter with you was Magical. I knew from that day I was blessed with the association of a true STAR.
You are a real talent and whether you work as ONE MAN, THE MAN, or ALL MAN; its evident that in you a MAN stands; and that's more than I can and will say for most. God Bless 2.0!

As expressed by Joi, my initial encounter with you, son, was also magical as well as mystical. I stood in a stark, steril, environment oberving as you emerged from the cervical cavity in which your mother had cradled you. From that moment forth, you have blessed your mom and me with many magical moments. It is only natural that we anticipate a continuation of your magical/mystical ability on August 6th and 7th. We love you man. Really, really, love you. Ironically, you are not "Any1Man". You are "Special Man"..and a gift from God.
