A Rapper and a Preacher walk into a bar...

We know, the first thing you have to be thinking is, "What is the Rapper doing in a bar?" Just kidding. Obviously, a preacher in a bar seems a little backwards. Well, pull up a stool and join the conversation between the regulars at the Any1Man bar. We've been here for a while. Start with a Blue Moon.

Jay-Z went back to Brooklyn to give fans an early listen to some of the music on his upcoming album, "American Gangster." On a studio lot for VH1's "Storytellers" series, Jay-Z, along with a full band, performed several tracks from the album inspired by the upcoming Denzel Washington-Russell Crowe flick.

Full band, huh? Well, we definitely have one of those. A full one of those. What if the next representational figure was a rapper? Cliche, right? Yeah, but no more so than a preacher. Truth be told, both portrayals would be equally as conflicting for Any1Man. His portrayals are often so closely related to his very own emotions and suppressions, that any presuppositions he has about a character find their way onto the stage. It is a part of the introspective process for an inside/out actor. Though subtle costume change is used to reflect transitions, Any1Man's rapper and preacher may mirror each other.

So the rapper or the preacher? It's not that simple. They have to speak up for themselves, but we welcome any provoking.
