“Out of the mouth of one man...
...comes the soul of every man...
...seen through the eyes of any1man.”
"Angry, funny, sad, wise, and curious, each man is, as the title says, 'any one man', and if you are not one of the characters played by Peters, you know someone who is." That's what King Magazine said. I was humbled.
I believe that Any1Man is the story of choice. It is the story of any man's choice; of every man's choice. The story begins with Adam's choice to bite the Apple in the Garden of Eden and follows the journey of six men as they make choices that lead them to triumph via tragedy.
You will laugh. You will be angered. You will empathize. You will want to ask questions, and I will answer them during and after the show, as each performance ends with a talk back and questions from the audience. Any1man is a conversation about choices.
And so goes the grueling introspection into the paradigm of manhood--every night. Wrought with painful admissions, coupled by towering debt, yet rewarded by the artistic satisfaction only a vessel can feel. Out of this inwardness Any1Man grows.
My one man show? No, not at all. I am inclined to believe that this is every man's story to tell. I am just turning the pages.
-Any 1 Man.
